Poem: Trust
Jan. 26th, 2013 11:15 amSomehow I lost myself in between,
everything was bad,
decaying,
unclean.
everything was faded,
nothing seemed right,
I didn't feel i was worth the fight.
but then they came back and pieced me together,
they taught me to fly,
to float like a feather.
they brought my world back into perspective.
now i am happy and warm and i am protected.
my friends stand beside me, and taught me to see,
not everyone deserves a guilty plea.
that in a person you can put your trust,
and it won't go bad, it won't ever rust.
they gave me inspiration and bright lovely colors,
and forever we shall stand together.
everything was bad,
decaying,
unclean.
everything was faded,
nothing seemed right,
I didn't feel i was worth the fight.
but then they came back and pieced me together,
they taught me to fly,
to float like a feather.
they brought my world back into perspective.
now i am happy and warm and i am protected.
my friends stand beside me, and taught me to see,
not everyone deserves a guilty plea.
that in a person you can put your trust,
and it won't go bad, it won't ever rust.
they gave me inspiration and bright lovely colors,
and forever we shall stand together.
